Rare Voices Australia (RVA) is continuing our work to better understand the impacts of collaboratively implementing the Australian Government’s National Strategic Action Plan for Rare Diseases (the Action Plan) as we focus on progress beyond policy.
In the coming months, RVA will be inviting stakeholders to share their experiences and case studies about significant changes in their community, group/organisation and/or the broader rare disease sector since the launch of the Action Plan in 2020. RVA will be collecting this input as part of a qualitative participatory monitoring and evaluation technique known as the Most Significant Change (MSC) Methodology. The MSC Methodology will identify both strengths and persistent gaps in Action Plan implementation.
